Utilities
In the three decades of work on Southern California’s civil and transportation infrastructure MARRS has learned: that addressing utility issues up front prevents schedule disruptions, delays, and economic losses later. Our firm harnesses this knowledge every time we support a civil infrastructure project involving development, design, and construction management of both wet and dry utility systems.
We partner with stakeholders and utility owners to develop utility relocation/protection strategies in a timely manner that minimize project risks. We obtain consensus on the project footprint, devising strategies for mitigating impacts and analyzing criteria for successful utilities relocation, avoidance, protection, or modifications prior to design. Our approach works because our key utilities personnel have previously worked for utility companies and we coordinate closely with utility agencies.
